Massena Central School’s Superintendent, Pat Brady, and Community Schools Site Coordinator, Kristin Colarusso-Martin, visited Massena Memorial Hospital to pick up school supplies for the “Ready-4-School” event. With the help of employees and community members alike, MMH was able to collect three boxes of school supplies filled with pens, pencils, crayons, markers, pencil cases, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, notebooks and binders. These supplies were handed out to children who attended MCS’s “Ready-4-School” event to ensure that they have what they need for the school year.

Massena Central School’s “Ready-4-School” event was held at the high school on August 26th from 2 pm to 6 pm. In addition to school supplies, bookbags, clothes, haircuts, bicycle helmets, tuneups and safety courses were available for the children. Community partners, including Massena Memorial Hospital, had tables set up at the event as well to offer educational information and resources.
