Patel will be practicing at Kids Korner Pediatric and Adolescent Center, joining Dr. Nor Ramli. Before joining the Kids Korner staff, Patel completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. From 2012-2016, Patel attended the American University of the Caribbean in Saint Maarten where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. Patel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec in 2011.

Dr. Ramli said, “I am happy that Dr. Patel has joined our staff and is here to care for children in Massena and from the surrounding communities. He is very eager and energetic. I am confident that we will make a great team and work well together to provide the highest quality care to our patients.”

Dr. Patel talked about why he chose Massena Memorial Hospital and what skills he brings as a pediatrician.

Why did you choose Massena Memorial Hospital?

Patel: “Practicing pediatrics in a close-knit community has always been my dream. Moving to Massena has also allowed me to be closer to my family in Montreal, and I am excited to call this community home.”

Why should someone seeking medical care choose you?

Patel: “I will make sure that every child’s care is held to the highest of standards. I like to focus on preventative aspects of pediatrics, meaning I work to ensure your child’s health as early as possible. I will not only take the time to make sure your child is cared for, but that you as a parent are reassured and have peace of mind. My ultimate goal is the health and happiness of your child from birth to adolescence.”

What is the most important thing to you in delivering patient care?

Patel: “The most important thing to me is making sure children feel comfortable coming to the office and that parents leave feeling reassured and supported.”
