Massena Memorial Hospital recently established a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to improve the quality, safety and satisfaction of the hospital's care.
MMH's PFAC is a group of patients, family members, clinicians and administrators who will meet monthly, or as needed, to discuss improvement opportunities and develop effective strategies.
Patient and family advisors are volunteers who will help improve care at Massena Memorial Hospital by sharing positive/negative experiences and offering suggestions and solutions. Advisors will contribute to the planning and implementation of improvement efforts through the attendance of monthly meetings.
Our patient and family advisors provide our administrators and clinicians with the opportunity to understand care experiences from the perspective of the patients and families we serve. These individuals will be invaluable in helping us improve our hospital.
If you are interested in becoming a patient or family advisor, please contact our PFAC Liasion. You can reach Chelsea by phone at (315)769-4262, or her email is chelsea.donovan@massenahospital.org.
We hope you will join us in improving the care experience for all patients and families at Massena Memorial Hospital.
