MMH Board of Managers and CSEA Ratify Agreement

The Massena Memorial Hospital Board of Managers at the June Board meeting Monday night approved a new one-year collective bargaining agreement with the Civil Services Employees Association, working at the hospital and who are represented by the Local 887 for the purpose of collective bargaining. The local CSEA, working at the hospital, ratified the agreement on Thursday, June 15, 2017.
This agreement covers approximately 224 licensed practical nurses, health care technicians to include radiology, laboratory, physical and respiratory therapy, service, maintenance, and clerical employees at Massena Memorial Hospital. The agreement includes a wage increase for all members, the creation of an additional wage grade and changes to the Health Insurance benefit. The agreement represents a commitment of $226,464 of additional money to wages.
