Our Services

The MMH difference.
Massena Memorial’s quality management program focuses on people and the delivery of care, and that makes a big difference. Our entire organization has pledged to provide the residents of our community with value based healthcare services, while striving for excellence and emphasizing human dignity. Bringing innovative, quality health care to Massena and surrounding communities is what we are all about.

A step ahead

Content to sit back and rest on our laurels? Never. At MMH, we are always moving forward, acquiring the latest equipment, attracting leading physicians to our medical staff and finding new and better ways to enhance your physical and mental well being. Over the last ten years, MMH has reinvested over $35 million in the facility with a new ICU, Telemetry Unit, Physical and Respiratory Therapy, Medical Laboratory, and Women’s Imaging Center. A beautiful registration area with a  Phlebotomy Center and Gift Shop with fresh flowers. Additionally, the hospital has a Veterans Clinic and Endoscopy Suite on the third floor, along with a third Operating Room to help meet the demand for Surgical Services. Tender Touches Birthing Center has four beautiful LDRPs to make the welcoming of each new born in a private suite for the “new” family. And MMH is the only hospital in the North Country to have a 3.0 Tesla MRI unit and a new 128 slice Low Rad CT Scanner.

From nose to toes.

MMH is a full-service community hospital with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. Our medical staff includes over 47 physicians in over 15 specialties. From primary care physicians, such as internists and family care practitioners, to neurologist and orthopedic surgeons. MMH prides itself on its medical staff. For a serious illness or an annual physical, physicians who practice at MMH offer sound health advice and high quality medical care close to home.

Quality care close to home.

The hospital’s programs, facilities and services reach all segments of the North Country. MMH’s Outreach program brings medical/health care to our community veterans close to home. Kids Korner Pediatric Center offers comprehensive pediatric care for both in and outpatient. Additionally, MMH offers the North Country Women’s Health, Surgical Group, Medical Group, the North Country Veterans Clinic and outreach clinics in Brasher, Norfolk and Louisville to meet the needs of the community, along with a Walk-In Clinic for urgent care at the hospital . Massena Memorial has initiated bringing specialist to the hospital, so patients do not have to travel far distances for a referral. We hold weekly clinics for the specialists in Pulmonology. We will continue to make quality health care easily accessible for all.

Our MDs and health care providers give TLC.

Treating families has always been important to us at MMH. We’ve seen generations come and go, brought new babies into the world and helped many people cope with “age old” problems. We’re proud of the dedicated doctors, nurses, professional staff members at Massena Memorial dedicated to putting you or your loved one on the road to recovery.

Treating the “whole” person.
