When interviewed, Dr. Prionas talked about why he joined Massena Memorial Hospital and what skills he brings as a doctor.
Why did you choose to join the MMH medical staff?
Dr. Prionas: Being in a small town is something that I have always wanted and being here in Massena allows me to be close to home (Trenton, Ont. Canada) but do something that I love to do. Practicing family medicine is the only kind of medicine I have ever known.
Why should someone seeking medical care choose you and why?
Dr. Prionas: I believe my training to up to date and will really help me throughout my career as a doctor. I try to focus on whole body medicine meaning I want all my patients to be in the right mindset and have their bodies be the same way.
What’s most important to you in delivering patient care?
Dr. Prionas: I want my patients to know we are going to work together to form a plan to help make sure they maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also want patients to know that I am very easy to talk to and they can open up to me about any problems they have.
Prionas welcomes new patients and referrals to his office at the MMH Medical Office Building on 181 Maple Street, Massena. Please call to schedule an appointment with Dr. Prionas, please call 315-769-4704.
