Why did you choose to join the MMH medical staff?
Dr. Barreto: I always liked the aspect of being in a small town and being able to form close relationships with my patients. I wanted to go somewhere where my services are needed and here in Massena the people are very friendly and helpful.
Why should someone seeking medical care choose you and why?
Dr. Barreto: I finished medical residency recently so I feel like my training is up to date. My motto is that you should practice what you preach meaning if your patients see you living a healthy lifestyle then they might do the same.
What’s most important to you in delivering patient care?
Dr. Barreto: I want to treat my patients and work together to come up with a specialized plan that optimizes their health and also letting my patients know that I am always here to help them in any way I can.
