A message from the CEO
Thank you for visiting the Massena Memorial Hospital’s web site. I hope you find that the information we provide is useful and educational. Our hospital provides you with high-quality healthcare, administered by a team of professionals in a caring, compassionate, efficient and ethical manner that promotes the health and well-being of our community.
We put our patients first at the hospital and the outreach clinics in everything we do. We do this by listening to their concerns, understanding their needs, honoring their choices and keeping them informed. We believe that the best healthcare is based on lasting relationships between patients, providers and healthcare facilities, and that those relationships grow best through open communication and mutual respect.
Our employees and medical staff are committed to delivering both excellent care and offering a comfortable patient experience. We hope you never have to experience a medical emergency, such as a stroke, heart attack or car crash. However, if you do, you can be assured that our goal is to put you in skilled and caring hands as soon as possible. Our Emergency Department treated over 18,500 patients last year.
As you explore our web site, you will find information about our services and new programs, a quick reference for healthcare information as well as items specific to Massena Memorial Hospital. You can receive physician referral through our “Find a Doctor/Practitioner” link or pre-register for your hospital stay or outpatient testing with our on-line registration services. You can also sign up for a free newsletter, “Health Focus”, search for jobs and apply on line or send an email to a patient.
I invite you to learn more about our centers for emphasis, including Medical Imaging with the new 3.0 Tesla MRI and Women’s Imaging Center, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the North Country Veterans Clinic, women’s health at the Women’s Health Omni Center, Tender Touches Birthing Center, rehabilitation services and much more.
As our campus expands not only with the Bushnell and Casey Medical Office Buildings and four off-campus centers to include Dialysis, Brasher Falls Family Health Center, the Norfolk Family Health Center, and the Louisville Family Health Center; our services will continue to grow to meet the medical needs of the community we serve.
